Arcadia Adjuncts Deserve Respect!

The Arcadia Adjunct faculty union has been bargaining for their second union contract for almost a year. 

On August 16th,  the University Administration offered our Union a "Final Offer", with raises of only 2% in the first year, and only 1% in the second and third years. The University administration also proposed removing our current healthcare caps, which would allow the University to unilaterally increase costs for adjunct faculty. There are also six other issues that relate to adjunct benefits & job security that have yet to be resolved.

Adjunct faculty make up the majority of faculty on campus!  Adjunct faculty at Arcadia are qualified & dedicated educators who routinely go above & beyond for their students & colleagues.  We want the Arcadia administration to stand by their mission to address issues of injustice & inequity, both inside & outside of the classroom, and demonstrate their support for our adjunct faculty!

We, the undersigned, demand that the Arcadia University Administration return to the bargaining table to work toward a Collective Bargaining Agreement that recognizes the value of Adjunct faculty members by ensuring living wages, meaningful job security, and affordable access to healthcare!
