2020 ArtWorks Teaching Staff Application
Thank you for your interest in working with ArtWorks! We're excited to learn more about you and hear why you want to have the best summer yet and elevate your future! The application should take no longer than 10-minutes to fill out. You will not be able to start and stop the application process, so please make sure that once you start that you are able to finish (you may lose your information if you leave the form page).
While the majority of available jobs available are for painters; a number of jobs may be available in other mediums, including illustration, photography, digital imaging, graphic design, sewing, and pattern-making. ArtWorks is committed to offering meaningful jobs in the arts for artists ages 14 and older, including providing a livable wage, workforce development, and opportunities for advancement. Job descriptions and project descriptions will be available on the ArtWorks website for review.
SUMMER 2020 LOGISTICS
- A majority of projects average 8 weeks between June 1 and July 31, 2020, though there are a few opportunities for
employment during the spring and fall months.
- During summer employment there will be one week of unpaid holiday from June 29 - July 3, 2020
- The summer work schedule is generally Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m for Teaching Artists
- Junior Teaching Artists earn up to $11.85/hour.
- Teaching Artists earn up to $17.75/hour.
- Project Managers earn up to $29.50/hour.
*Teaching staff position salaries will be determined based on qualifications and experience
