Application Form - 2020-21 Pilot
The BLC Innovation Fund provides funding to support and enrich the activities of individual BLC Communities of Interest, Working Groups, and Committees. During the pilot period (through May 1, 2021), individual Communities may apply for funding awards of up to $1,500.

Possible uses for funding include honoraria and costs associated with external guest speakers; training and professional development fees; and other costs incurred beyond ordinary meeting expenses.

Provisional applications for emergent projects and activities are encouraged. Multiple smaller applications throughout the year are welcome; however, each BLC Community may receive no more than $1,500 in total from the BLC Innovation Fund during the pilot period.

Funding is limited to a total of $10,000 for the 2020-21 academic year. Applications are considered on a monthly basis for requests received by the first day of each month. Award notifications will be communicated within three weeks.

For larger projects, please consider developing a proposal for external funding and/or BLC Reserve Fund support in collaboration with BLC staff.
