1. Our talking rule
Think about some or all of the following issues (and any other that you think are relevant) and then create a rule that addresses the question that appears below:
- when can students talk;
- what can students talk about;
- does a student need permission to talk;
- if permission is needed, how can a student signal a request to talk;
- how can permission to talk be give;
- for how long may a student talk;
- what should other students do while someone else is talking?

2. Our moving-around rule
Think about some or all of the following issues (and any other that you think are relevant) and then create a rule that addresses the question that appears below:
- if a student arrives late, how should they enter the room
- if a student arrives late, where should they sit;
- for what reasons may students leave their seats once the tutorial has started;
- if a student wishes to leave their seat, what process should be followed;
- if a student wishes to leave the room, what process should be followed?

How should moving in, around and out of the room managed?
3. Our bullying rule
Think about some or all of the following issues (and any other that you think are relevant) and then create a rule that addresses the question that appears below:
- if a student says or asks something that is ill-informed, how should the teacher and other students react;
- if a student puts down another student, what should be the reaction of the teacher and other students;
- if a student with a disability is being made fun of, what should be the reaction of the teacher and other students;
- if you are aware that some students are bullying another student via social media, what should occur;
- if you think you are being bullied by other students, what should you do?
