Get ready for the chess showdown of the summer — at one of the most family-friendly places around!

🌞 Event: Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens, the Kingsville Optimist Club, and Windsor Elite Chess are joining forces to bring you an epic, fun-filled morning of chess — all inside the amazing, family-loved Colasanti’s! Bring the whole family to enjoy the gardens, the animals, the magic atmosphere, and some serious chess action.

🧠 Players: Grades 5 through 12 

📅 Tournament Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (sharp!)

💰 Registration Fee: Only $10 — big fun, small price.

🥇 Medals: Top 3 winners take home the glory!

When you register and participate in any of the chess events run and managed by the Toronto Chess Centre, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.

By participating in our events or entering our event premises, whether as a participant or spectator, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by the Toronto Chess Centre and its affiliates and representatives.

Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of the Toronto Chess Centre. You release the Toronto Chess Centre and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings.

By entering our event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by the Toronto Chess Centre or the person or entity designated to do so by the Toronto Chess Centre.
