The Milch award recognizes one community group, organization, or agency annually who contributed most significantly to the betterment of the intellectual, cultural, social or commercial life of greater Baltimore over the past year. Founded in 1979 by Robert A. Milch, professor of management and dean of the executive graduate program in management from 1977-1981 and his mother, Mrs. Pearl S. Milch, Loyola presents this award, and its monetary gift, annually during commencement.

All Loyola community members are encouraged to nominate groups who collaborated closely with the university to generate positive community impact over the past year. Please note that a past recipient may receive the award once every five years.
