The Board of Directors of Trident Yacht Club (TYC) has developed a Member Code of Conduct (the Code) that will be in effect for the 2021 season. The overarching objective of this Code is to protect the health and safety of TYC members and staff during the Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure compliance with Government rules and regulations.
All members are asked to acknowledge that they have read and will agree to follow the within Code by submitting this form before they will be allowed entry to the TYC grounds.
Members who do not agree to or fail to follow the Code will be denied access to TYC.
1. I will not visit TYC if I: (i) have been outside Canada in the last 14 days; (ii) am showing any Covid-19 symptoms (such as fever, chills, sore throat, difficulty breathing or loss of sense of smell); (iii) have been in contact with any person who is known or suspected of having Covid-19; or (iv) am not allowed to travel from my "home" area.
2. I will comply with all Covid-19 preventative measures and regulations put forth by the Government of Ontario and KFL&A Public Health Unit.
3. I understand that physical distancing is to be respected; at present--no social gatherings with more than 5 persons will be allowed.
4. I will wear a mask or face covering when not on my boat in accordance with Government of Ontario Guidelines and Regulations.
5. I will wash or sanitize my hands often and will sanitize my hands before entering the clubhouse.
6. I will follow the club rules put in place to minimize exposure to the Covid-19 virus.
7. I understand that only members and their household have access to the club grounds until further notice.
8. I will respect the authority of the Club manager and TYC Board members to enforce compliance with TYC and government Covid-19 rules and regulations.
9. I understand that the Government of Ontario and the KFL&A Public Health Unit fines for non-compliance with Covid-19 rules and regulations are severe including $5,000 per day for an individual and $25,000 per day for corporations.
