Autism Support Portal Questions
A team of computer scientists at Virginia Tech (Kenneth, Sib, Ayumi, and Ryan) are working on an autism web portal to help those with questions about autism find the reliable answers they are looking for! Your responses below will help our team make the website portal as useful for users as possible. Thank you for your participation!
The portal's focus is on providing a reliable search engine to answer questions about autism, as well as providing a way for users to communicate with each other to discuss information they have found themselves.
What do you expect of the portal? What features do you want or need?
Are there any questions you had about autism you struggled to find an answer for? Why?
What questions have you had that you found answers for easily? Where did you find the answers?
What websites have provided you the most useful and reliable information about autism?
If there is one feature you want to see in the portal, what would it be?
Reliable search engine
Communication with other users about autism resources and information
Categories with short descriptions and related options (For example, under education you might find IEPs)
Anything else you want to tell our team? Any questions for us?
