Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) Workshop
GTAP is a global network of researchers who conduct quantitative analysis of international economic policy issues, including international trade, and is coordinated by the Center for Global Trade Analysis located at Purdue.

This workshop will be presented by Dr. Jayson Beckman,  Dept. of Agricultural Economics, and will go over the background of GTAP and computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling, explain what tools are available, and look at examples of the uses of GTAP.

April 3rd, 2026 from 9am to 12pm at Filley Hall (East Campus), RM 47. Space is limited. 

9:00 am: Background information on GTAP and Computable general equilibrium (CGE) Modeling
10: 00 am: Explanation of tools available 
11:00 am: Examples and using GTAP

This workshop is open to all university students, staff, and faculty. Please bring a laptop. Instructions for downloading the GTAP software will be given ahead of time.
