At the Regional Equity Network, we believe that we have a responsibility to disrupt current practice and mindset, eliminate barriers, and commit to life-long personal and professional growth. We will be the beacon for institutional change by dismantling hate, and promoting compassion, love, and inclusivity. REN will strengthen the fabric of our community by respecting and ensuring equitable outcomes for all.

This assessment will support our network in determining areas of focus for us as a cohesive group as well as determining areas that individual districts wish to focus on. These areas are by no means a checklist of areas to complete and then you are done. Rather, these are some areas that historically need to be addressed and adjusted in order to begin a cohesive shift and change within school districts. This assessment is a concise version to get our work started. A more detailed survey will follow in coming months.

While the sections and questions follow a linear order, we know this work is neither linear nor is it able to be divested into neat sections. This work is interdependent and fluid. The framing of this assessment is solely in an attempt to gain the most meaningful feedback possible.
