Tucsonense Oral History / Memories Form
Los Descendientes de Tucson promotes, preserves, and celebrates the unique history of the Primaria Alta through safeguarding, documenting, and educating the community on the rich heritage, historical places, and traditions of the founding cultures of Tucson. Los Des runs the Mexican American Heritage and History Museum located downtown at the historic Sosa-Carrillo House.

We will use these memories and/or oral histories as a way to:
1.  Engage community and bring awareness to Los Des / MexAm Museum;
2.  Solicit Tucsonense knowledge and stories;
3. Provide community guidance for the Museum’s permanent exhibits and Los Des de Tucson's future programming. The Past is Important, Today.

Do you have a favorite memory or an important space that is uniquely Tucson? Tell us.
Do you know someone(s) with amazing memories of Tucson that Los Des / MexAm Museum should interview? Why is this a good person to interview?

(We want to prioritize capturing elders’ oral histories and those with unique perspectives on Tucson. We also want to put energy into communities and people who have been historically overlooked.)
Would you like us to take your oral history or put us in contact with someone to interview?

If so, please give us your phone number / email so we can follow-up with you.
¡Muchas Gracias!
