One of life’s fundamental necessities is a safe and healthy home.

Homes RI is a coalition of organizations working together to increase and preserve the supply of safe, healthy and affordable homes throughout Rhode Island. We believe Rhode Island can and should be a state where all residents are able to live in safe, healthy and sustainable homes in thriving communities.

To accomplish this, our state must commit to making serious and sustained investments to fund construction and maintenance of long-term affordable homes, to provide funds for rental assistance and supportive services to maintain the health and wellbeing of residents who need them, and to remove barriers that prevent people from accessing quality, stable housing.

These much needed investments in housing will support economic and workforce development, health equity, strong communities, and reduce housing insecurity and homelessness.

Your organization agrees to publicly support these policy priorities and may be asked to submit testimony, engage on social media, attend events, participate in meetings, and/or engage in other activities as a supporter of Homes RI.
