Our courses will be on a sliding scale for the semester. The sliding scale will allow you to pay what you can for the course. The sliding scale will be $30-$50 for each class. Ages are 13-20, different from previous semester. Classes are space limited and have a max number of students. If the classes closes, you will be put on waiting list in case someone drops the class.

*****CLOSED*****Digital Arts with Kailani Campbell TUES. THR. 6-8pm
**MUST COMPLETE THIS COURSE IN ORDER TO TAKE SCREEN PRINTING***
Are you wanting to learn how to create digital art to prepare you for screen printing and graphic design work? Well then, Digital Arts is the course for you. The class is focused on creating illustrations drawn in paper and pencil to digital files in order use online or make t-shirts.

SCREEN PRINTING 101 with James Black WED. 4-7pm
**STUDENT MUST HAVE TAKEN DIGITAL ARTS IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CLASS.***
Learn the fundamentals of silkscreen from screen prep to final print, how to properly use screen printing equipment and tools, and basic tips and tricks to print whatever your heart desires. Class begins with a hands-on screen printing process demonstration. Participants will create their own original stencils, then film positives. Students will learn how to expose screens and practice pulling prints with the instructor's guidance.

SCREEN PRINTING 201 with James Black THR. 4-7pm
**STUDENT MUST HAVE TAKEN DIGITAL ARTS and 101 IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CLASS.***
Learn how to properly use screen printing equipment and tools, and basic tips and tricks to print whatever your heart desires. The class is design for those who have taken the class before and want to expand their knowledge of printing. Class begins with a hands-on screen printing process demonstration. Participants will create their own original stencils, then film positives. Students will learn how to expose screens and practice pulling prints with the instructor's guidance.

DJ 101 with DJ Flo Fader TUES. WED. 4-6pm
Local DJ extraordinaire will take students on a musical journey through the history and art of DJing. Students will learn crucial lessons on how to hook up and operate basic DJ equipment from past and present. Learn and perform turntable maneuvers, DJ routines, important crowd response techniques, and preparation for club gigs.

PHOTO 101 with Minh Quan TUES. WED. 4-6pm
Bring your ideas to life! New and seasoned photographers will experience the power of storyboarding and the creative process that happens before the shot.

ROCKSTAR with Lee Sillery . TUES. 6-8
Produce original music using a comprehensive approach! Students will evolve as musicians by identifying their goals and focusing on live recording as musicians and performers.

508 RECORDS with Isaiah Watts . WED. 4-8pm
Collaborate with other young artists, musicians, and wordsmiths in our 508 studio! Learn about drum programming, sequencing, midi, recording audio, mixing and more using Logic X.

MURAL ARTS with Kailani Campbell SAT. 12-4pm
The Mural Arts class will introduce students to new styles of urban art and aerosol art. From stencils to hand-styles, you can practice every week on our mural wall and help create the next new mural at 508. Advanced muralists will move on to participate in community projects.
