In Fall 2018, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) implemented the use of an electronic visitor management system at all school sites.  The system, known as School Access Management (S.A.M.) in PYLUSD, provides a consistent, standardized method to track visitors, while keeping away individuals who may present a danger to students and staff members. This action directly supports the District’s Strategic Plan, “The PYLUSD Advantage,” Focus Area 4.0, which states: “A safe and respectful environment is essential to student success.”
