This is a mock census created for students in Elmore County Schools. This survey is for educational purposes only. The purpose of Census in the Classroom is for you to see what type of questions are on the real census.

What is your name? On the real census, this question is asked for everyone living in the household.
How many people live in your household (don't forget to include yourself)? On the real census, this is the first question that is asked.
What type of home do you live in? The real census does not ask this specific question, instead it ask questions on if the home is owned or rented.
Are you a male or female? On the real census, your parents/guardian must provide this information for everyone living in the home.
What is your age? On the real census, your parents/guardian will be asked to provide the age of everyone living in the home?
What is your date of birth? (Month/day/year) On the real census your parents/guardian will be asked to provide the date of birth for everyone living in the home.
What is your race? On the real census your parents/guardian will be asked to provide this information for everyone living in the home.

The U.S. Census occurs every 10 years to get an accurate account of how many people are living in the United States.
