Abbotsford Arts Council/FVMA Artist/Performance Application
Thank you for your interest in performing at the Abbotsford Arts Council's concert events! We're looking for bands/musicians for three events: Canada Day mainstage (July 1 at Exhibition Park), Jam in Jubilee (Thursdays in July in Jubilee Park), and the Mill Lake Music Concert Series (Sundays in summer at Mill Lake Park, exact dates TBA).  As part of Jam in Jubilee, one of four weeks will be dedicated to CIVL’s Fraser Valley Music Awards for the 3rd year in a row, and a separate submission page will be linked below. If you are not booked for Jam in Jubilee or Canada Day through this form, submitting to FVMAs at this link makes you eligible for selection to perform on the FVMA day at Jam in Jubilee, July 18th https://fvma.civl.ca/2024-fvmas/nominee-submissions/.

We work hard to curate a talented and diverse array of local artists performing at our concerts. Canada Day sees more than 50,000 folks attend. Every summer during our four-week event, Jubilee Park becomes host to 12 bands (plus more elsewhere), a variety of cultural performances, an art market, curated exhibits, and 5200 attendees. The concert series at Mill Lake Park has been a mainstay for years, and has been steadily growing in quality and attendance. These are excellent opportunities to promote yourself as well as increase the profile of our local independent music community.
