Program Information

DescriptionA.I.R. Academy is your 3rd-8th grade young artist's FREE opportunity to try out different art mediums to find their passion and to begin their journey as a future Artist in Residence. 

Schedule
: There will be a total of six sessions. Activities are held 9:15 am - 1:00 pm on Saturdays at the Arts @ Large Community Center - 1100 S 5th St, Milwaukee, WI 53204.
  • Parent Orientation: 4/4 (10:30 - 11:30 am)

  • Session 1: 4/11

  • Session 2: 4/18

  • Session 3: 4/25

  • Session 4: 5/2

  • Session 5: 5/9

  • Session 6: 5/16 (Closing Showcase: 12 - 1 pm)

Mediums: TBD

*Due to the free nature of this program, to maximize how many students can participate we require your young artist to commit to at least 5 out of the 6 sessions. (This does not include missed sessions due to illness, emergency, or other excused absences.)*
