Zoe Rosenberg is facing felony and misdemeanor charges and the possibility of 5 years in jail for rescuing 4 chickens, Poppy, Aster, Ivy & Azalea, from Perdue’s Petaluma Poultry slaughterhouse. They were covered in scratches and bruises and infested with Coccidia parasites. At trial, Zoe will tell the jury their stories and be fully transparent about what she did to get them the care they needed.
The Perdue Rescue Trial started on September 15, 2025 and is likely to last into late October. It is happening in Santa Rosa, about an hour and a half drive from San Francisco, at the Superior Court of California (600 Administration Dr, Santa Rosa). DxE will also be organizing rallies, vigils, and community events throughout the trial and on weekends. You can come for any amount of time that you’re able!
