"They...Who?!": World-Making with Gender
Come join us as we share space to talk about Gender! We'll be talking about the ways standards of gender have been constructed through white supremacy, and used as a tool to harm and control Black, Indigenous and People of Color. We'll explore the ways institutional and cultural practices we uphold push a rigid definition of gender, how we utilize these rigid definitions to our benefit, as tools for our survival, and how we are actively expanding our understanding of gender and expression.

We want to be transparent that this space will be centering Trans and Gender Non-Conforming People of Color in the space but all folks who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two-Spirit, Trans, and Gender Non-Conforming People of Color are welcome to attend.

We're hoping to have folks leave with:
- a grounded, broad understanding of the history of gender.
- how gender intersects with race and class.
- feeling more free, connected to each other, and grounded in embodying political values.
