#SmithGoesGlobal Fund Scholarship
Apply for the #SmithGoesGlobal Fund Scholarship to help reduce the out-of-pocket costs of study abroad such as airfare and personal expenses. The #SmithGoesGlobal Fund Scholarship consists of three types of awards: flight scholarship, semester program scholarship, and short term program scholarship. The application process is the same for all three awards. To be eligible to apply, students must have completed an application to the Education Abroad Fund Scholarship (deadlines: September 26 or March 1).

To be eligible to apply, students must:
be a current business major.
have applied or be in the process of applying to their first study abroad program at UMD.
have completed a FAFSA and receive financial aid.
have completed an application to the Education Abroad Fund Scholarship (deadlines: September 26 or March 1).
