Multimodal mobility in El Cerrito and Richmond Annex

Dear El Cerrito and Richmond city councils, CalTrans, West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee (WCCTAC):

In response to the increasing climate crisis, and as more housing is built on or near major streets like San  Pablo Avenue, our streets must accommodate more than just cars. Our low-carbon mobility future must be multimodal, safely accommodating bicycles, scooters, wheelchairs, mopeds, low-speed microcars, and efficient bus travel, as well as pedestrians walking along and across all streets, large and small. We the undersigned urge you to support safe, multimodal mobility throughout all of El Cerrito and the Richmond Annex, including on San Pablo Avenue.
