Concerned about DHET application taking too long. Show your support.
Accredited Training Providers / Skills Development Providers applying for registration with DHET
We have applied for registration with the DHET
We have been informed by our SETA about the requirements of DHET that needs to be met.
We have not received any feedback or progress regarding our application to the DHET as yet
The DHET Guidelines are confusing and outdated
Poor communication/non-communication received from DHET on the progress of our application
DHET turnaround time from date of submission to date of registration is longer than a year
The Financial Surety is a burden, and effects my operational capital to run my business
The DHET application should be completed by the Private Colleges Department within 6 months of submission
All Accredited Training Providers, should be informed by their SETAs of the requirements and where to find the application form for registration.
The application takes so long to be evaluated, that by the time of evaluation, documents have expired, which is unfair to the applicant.
The banking details of the DHET to pay the application fee of R500.00 is not found on the DHET website
All Accredited Providers, should have access to the DHET application for registration, including: CC, NPO, NPC, Trusts, Co-Operatives, Joint Ventures, SOC accredited by a SETA/QCTO.
There is no amendment form for changes, during the application phase of registration with the DHET as a private provider
DHET should instruct all SETAs to place the DHET application form and guidelines on their websites, for ease of reference
We are pleased with the DHET process of registration
