ScottyCon 2025 Cosplay Masquerade/Craftsmanship Contest Application
ScottyCon 2025 will take place on Saturday, March 29th, from 11:00am - 9:00pm, at the Cohon University Center. This year, Cosplay@CMU will be hosting a Cosplay Masquerade. In a masquerade, individual or groups of cosplayers can perform skits, dance numbers, songs, or simply walk the stage and show off their costume. Additionally, cosplayers who have made more than 70% of their costume can choose to enter the Craftsmanship Contest, where they will be judged on Craftsmanship, Creativity, and Faithfulness to the source material. At the end, cosplayers will be given prizes for Best in Show, Best in Craftsmanship, and other categories.

The Masquerade is tentatively scheduled for 4 p.m. in the Rangos Ballroom. Those competing in the Craftsmanship Contest will also be given a 5 minute timeslot between 2 to 4 p.m. to discuss their creative process in detail with the cosplay judges.
