Turandot 2014 - Audition for Chorus Members
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will present an opera production of Puccini’s Turandot in December 2014. Experienced singers are invited to audition to be chorus members.

*** Only male chorus members are now being recruited. ***

Our first rounds of auditions took place on 21 and 22 September, and on 6 and 9 October 2014. We have successfully recruited many members for our chorus, but would like to take in some more male voices.

Performance Dates: 12-14 December 2014 (Friday to Sunday)
Performance Venue: Concert Hall, Hong Kong City Hall
Production: Musica Viva

Participating Chorus: The Opera Society of Hong Kong
Chorusmaster: Raymond Fu

Rehearsal Schedule: 7:30-10:00pm Mondays and Thursdays from mid-October 2014 on (details available at audition)

Chorus Members’ Basic Requirements:

Age: Children Chorus: 6- 12; Adult Chorus: 18 or above
Chorus Experience: For Adult Chorus: 3 years or more (with formal vocal training preferred)
Audition: (a) An aria of own choice; and (b) Sight-singing test
