We, the undersigned, are proud union members working in film and television. We stand in support of our post production administrative colleagues seeking union recognition. We understand that the AMPTP is refusing voluntary recognition for the Post Production Guild members. The best part of working in film and television is that no one can make a show alone. Without the post production administrative staff, what is shot on set wouldn’t be on air or released in theaters. In our heavily unionized industry, we understand the value of collective bargaining and believe our colleagues in post should also be eligible for union benefits and protections. While we do not wish to see this issue escalate, we support our colleagues and urge you to allow this group to organize without delay.
