Thank you for your interest in participating as a volunteer in the ESC Team project The Walking Forest, which will take place in Satriano, Basilicata, for 20 days, from 28 January to 18 February 2026 (arrival and departure date).

During this project, volunteers will take part in the organization of the traditional carnival of Satriano with the construction of costumes made of natural elements, video and foto documentation of the whole process of getting the town ready for hosting the visitors, supporting all logistics and the ecological part of the festival, taking part to the carnival parade. 

The volunteers, 6 international land 4 local, will working closely with the staff of Al Parco and be supported by the LEAD organization  Basilicata Link APS.

Those whom we intend to involve will be contacted between 20 and 23 November for a follow-up interview 📝and the selection will be published on last days of December.
