Win Two Tickets to see Fezziwig
In honour of our 25th anniversary, The Fezziwig Society is going back to the past to revisit a favourite production from 2002, THE MOTHER GOOSE MUDDLE.
The original script was written by Ed Thomasin, with music and lyrics by Ross Thompson, but it has been updated by former Fezziwig music director and scriptwriter, Gus Webb, so that we get the best of the past AND the present.
A few new characters have been added and references and songs made more contemporary. We have, however, kept the main plot outline and a couple of the original musical numbers.
Come join the multi-generational Fezziwigs, Father Christmas (and his surprise spouse), Scrooge and the Ghosts of various Christmases, and lots of Mother Goose characters, not least the formidable woman herself.
A traditional holiday in 19th century London can end up almost anywhere if you have imagination, maybe even in Cloud Cuckoo Land. Never heard of that spot? Wikipedia has! “Someone who is said to "live in cloud cuckoo land" is a person who thinks that things that are completely impossible might happen.”
