For the last 27 years, LiveOn NY has hosted an Aging Advocacy Day in the beginning of May, bringing hundreds of older adults and aging services professionals to the steps of City Hall to demand their fair share of the budget. This year, we will finally be able to meet in person again on the steps of City Hall, after holding the event virtually the past two years. The health and safety of our participants remains a priority; as such, we will continue to monitor the situation to ensure this opportunity is in line with guidance at the time of the event.
Register below to join us at City Hall as we urge the City to support #EquityforAging and #JustPay, during the Rally, which will begin at 11:00am.
From home-delivered meal drivers to case managers, all aging service professionals are welcome. As possible, we encourage program directors (e.g. Older Adult Center Directors and NORC Directors) to offer this opportunity with your program participants, sharing an estimated number of attendees through this form. Please note that LiveOn NY is not able to arrange transportation for the event.
