What
new expressions are possible thanks to another body? What does it mean to
connect, to support, to follow, to manipulate, to trust? How to be safe? How to
enjoy? How to jump and to catch? The class proposes a set of tools for
working in close physical contact with another person as well as a space to
explore what is possible.
Hygin
Delimat – choreographer, dance
teacher, and producer, has been active for many years on the Austrian dance
scene and, more recently, in the Netherlands. He is the founder and leader of
the group Body Architects, the Craft Choreography program, and the Mind Culture
Podcast. Currently, he teaches contemporary dance at universities in the
Netherlands (Fontys, ArtEZ, Codarts), specializing in floorwork and partnering.
His work is
characterized by exploring the extreme physical capabilities of bodies
(utilizing techniques from breakdance and partnering) as well as performative
states associated with catastrophe and survival.
Price: €15,30.
At the door: €18,30.
The prices include VAT and €0,15 administration costs.
There is 24-hour cancellation policy, to receive a refund you need to cancel at least 24 hours before the class.
