The Changemakers are a group of young people under the Nurturing Foundations charity in North Manchester with grant making opportunities to empower and distribute funding to young people and/or local groups in order to deliver projects that will positively impact and improve our local communities.

By filling this form you will be explaining to us your idea and the value of this funding (maximum being £1000)

The deadline for this form to be submitted is 3PM on 31st January, 2025

We will be looking for your ideas to have the qualities:
  • Value for money
  • Youth led
  • Impact on the community
  • The 3 themes below
  • Quality and realism of the idea 
Eligible wards you must be resident in:
  • Moston
  • Harpurhey
  • Blackley
  • Crumpsall
  • Cheetham Hill
And between the ages of 12 and 18. 

We are looking to give out funding to help the community. Some of these changes should include one or all of these 3 themes:
  • Mental health: Support through a product or service to help young people’s welfare 
  • Homelessness: To solve or prevent homelessness
  • Eradicating violence: Methods and provisions to prevent criminal activity amongst young people.
