Kump Education Center Spanish Camp 2026 Registration Form: La Navidad en Julio - Christmas in July
"La Navidad en Julio"  July 20-24, 8:30 - 3:30  Spanish language and culture camp with a focus on having fun while broadening students' Spanish language and cultural experiences. This year's theme explores Christmas and December traditions throughout the Spanish Speaking world.  Students will prepare traditional foods for lunches, play games, create arts and crafts, and spend time outdoors.   

Campers ages 5-11 welcome.   

Leah Devine will lead camp in coordination with the Kump Center with current students and recent graduates from Elkins High School assisting. 
 
$300 includes snacks, materials, and meals.*

NOTE: Each camper is responsible for providing a water bottle each day. There is no refund for days absent due to illness or other unplanned absences. We suggest students wear shoes to be active in! They will often be eating outdoors in our pavilion and exploring our grounds. Please provide an email address so that the instructor may contact you if there’s special instructions. If minimum enrollment is not met, camp may be cancelled. Minimum enrollment 12; maximum 16 campers.

Payment is due with the REGISTRATION AND POLICIES FORM. Checks are payable to the Kump Education Center or payment can be made online. Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. Campers are enrolled when payment is received. Payment can be made online through PayPal by hitting the DONATE button at kumpeducationcenter.org or mailed to Kump Education Center, PO Box 1106  Elkins, WV 26241.

LIABILITY (Type Guardian Name & Child's Name)

I/we                      (PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN NAME/S), as the parent/legal guardian of             (CHILD’S NAME), do hereby acknowledge and assume the risk of my child’s participation in any and all activities in association with Kump Education Center (KEC). I voluntarily assume all risk of loss, damage, illness, or injury, including death, which may occur while my child is participating in any KEC activity or event or during such times as my child is under the supervision of any KEC volunteer, employee, or agent. I agree to hold harmless and release KEC and its volunteers, employees, and agents in any location where activities are conducted. I understand that KEC does not provide health, accident, dental, disability or other insurance to pay for expenses that may be incurred as a result of any injury sustained. I agree to assume responsibility for all expenses that may be incurred or arise from any injury to my child while participating with the Kump Education Center.
IMAGE USE
Throughout our programs we may capture photographs and videos of KEC participants. These images may be used in displays, on our website, for publications, in advertisements, or on KEC’s Facebook page. 
KEC participants will not be identified by their full name in publications. Please check one of the following options.

LATE PICKUP / Early Drop Off 
It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that someone (Parent or Emergency/Alternate pick-up person) is available to pick up the child on time. A $10 late fee will be assessed if your child has not been picked up within 15 minutes of camp ending time. A Late Pick-Up Log Sheet must be completed and signed before departing with the child.
● If camp staff have not heard from a parent or designated person within 10 minutes of camp ending time, the call procedure (parents & emergency contacts) will be started to arrange for a timely pickup.
● If your child has not been picked 30 minutes after camp ending time, it will be considered an emergency, and it may be necessary to transport your child to another nearby location by camp staff. 

Campers should be dropped off between 8:20 & 8:35am. If campers are dropped off before 8:15, a $10 early drop off fee will be assessed daily.
