Welcome Peacemakers to our Amazing and Powerful weeklong Convergence for Peace, April 5 - 11, 2026, in the beautiful Southern New Mexico Desert! Together we will be a united force to nonviolently oppose and resist the illegal and brutal U.S. Killer Drone Program, a critical tool of U.S. Empire that is terrorizing our sisters and brothers globally and facilitating the ongoing genocide in Palestine. For our fourth anti-drone peace convergence at Holloman Air Force Base your participation is vital. Since the group campsite at Oliver Lee State Park is under renovation, most of us will be staying at a couple of shared rental houses right in Alamogordo, which is about 10 min. from Holloman Killer Drone Training Base. Privately arranged motel stays are an alternative. We will be coordinating shared meals, and request a donation of $10 per day for meals, with the exception of a few dinners out during the week, where each person is responsible to pay for their own meal out. We will also ask for a donation to contribute toward the cost of the rental homes, depending on the length of your stay. We want everyone to be able to attend, so no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Information about housing assignment and location will be given by email within the last week BEFORE the event. TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE:
Limited assistance with transportation includes: On-line ride sharing "bulletin board" on our website to help people connect with others from their own home communities, and guaranteed pick-up and delivery to/from El Paso airport/bus/train terminals to/from Alamogordo. Details will be worked out as the date draws nearer. Traveling stipends will also be available, depending on donations raised. Please check website for details.
