WMIS Skill Share: Bird Watching RSVP
Have you ever wanted to go bird watching but weren't sure how to start, or where to go? Or maybe you love bird watching but don't know others who do? Don't have Saturday afternoon plans? Well, this is the skill share event for you!

Scripps PhD Student Vanessa ZoBell will lead us on a fun, casual bird watching experience at San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Preserve in Cardiff (~15 min away from UCSD). All experience levels welcome. Nobody is an expert – we just want to have some fun!

PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS BELOW:

When: Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 4 PM PST (until park closes at sunset; don't be late!)
Where: San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Preserve (2710 Manchester Avenue, Cardiff, CA 92007). Meet outside Nature Center (transportation not provided; parking is free).
What to Bring (optional): camera, binoculars, bird ID field guide, or download ID apps (eBird or Merlin Bird ID)

***FYI this is an outdoor, socially-distanced event – we will follow all UCSD COVID guidelines. We cannot formally arrange carpools, but please let us know if transportation is a problem for you.***
