SJVWP WOW Workshop: Feb. 24, 2018
This workshop will focus on "Overcoming Resistance to Writing: Moving Student Writing Beyond the Classroom." Come join us for the last SJVWP WOW Workshop of the year. This workshop will feature a visit to the Laureate Lab (founded by former U.S. Poet Laureate, Juan Felipe Herrera) and workshops by local classroom teachers about how they've inspired student writing through language play, use of social media, and real audiences. It's going to be a dynamic workshop in which you'll engage in some of the same experiences you can use with students.
