This may require a dancer performing with another class of the exact same style doing the exact same class. I do this to make life easier. If you decline to have your student dance with another class, you are required to purchase tickets to all of the shows your dancer is in.Some classes may dance in multiple shows. We will announce the classes when we get the performance date. You do not have to attend all shows.Dress rehearsal is closed. The details of the dress rehearsal will be sent out in January as in date and times. Dress Rehearsal is mandatory for it is an important practice for the dancers to become familiar with the dancing in their costumes. Costumes will be distributed in the Spring.Costumes are ordered to as close to the size of your dancer as per our measurements. Costumes may need to be altered for exact fit. The studio is not responsible for these alterations.Class Attire:Students should be dressed in dance attire and have hair pulled away from the face. No jewelry.Dance attire must be worn to class.  Our studio calendar for the year is on our website. A paper copy will be handed out by request.Photographs of your dancers may be taken the first 5 minutes of class. The flash is highly distracting to the class, especially the little ones. Parents watching from behind the window are asked not to talk loudly or tap the window to speak to your little one. It stops the whole class. Thank you for your consideration.Students should arrive 5 minutes before class starts to allow the class to start on time.Shoes must be marked clearly with the dancer’s name.Food and drink are prohibited from the dance room, except for bottled water.Disruptive students will be asked to leave the room if class is interrupted due to behavior. If behavior continues to be disruptive, a parent meeting will be called. If after such meeting the behavior is not corrected, the student will be asked to leave the studio. Please note this also pertains to disruptive parents. If there is an issue, kindly set up a meeting with the owner at a time that works for both of you. These type of dismissals are at the discretion of management. Tuition is nonrefundable for this type of dismissal.Parents and siblings are not to come into the classroom unless invited by the teacher for the duration of the class.Parents of Creative Movement students are asked to stay in case of bathroom trip necessity. In the event of a weather related closing, please check our Facebook, Instagram pages or call the studio. We will set a make-up day based on studio availability. This is at the discretion of management. Our student’s safety is of primary importance, however, students dance at their own risk. I have read, understand and accept the policies of The Dance Arena performing arts center
