MSA Crochet Crew: Weekly Sessions
This application is for 2026 Crochet Crew.

Before you apply, please ensure you are registered as a 2026 MSA Volunteer. We ask our volunteers to apply each year to keep our database current. We will ask you to resubmit your form from September to be registered as a 2025 Volunteer.

Semester 1, Weeks 2 - 10
  • Mondays 1-3pm
  • Thursdays 1-3pm
Semester 2, weeks 2-10:  Listed in Week -1 Sem 2 (Mid July)

We are looking for students who are keen to learn how to Crochet and make things for themselves and the student community. 

Crochet Projects are designed and selected by student volunteers leaders, and materials are funded through the MSA Leadership & Volunteering Department.

These weekly sessions are an activity designed for students of all crochet skills to come together and crochet together each week on any of our current projects.

You have the option for volunteer in this program and make items for the MSA Pantry to provide to students,  or alternatively you can participate as a participant and make something for yourself.

This program aims to provide a creative outlet for student volunteers, a mindful activity and supply students with functional items for free.

Program Duration:
Please note that this program runs during semester only.
Sessions usually run between 1-1.5 hours

Ways to participate:
You have the option for volunteer in this program and make items for the MSA Pantry to provide to students,  or alternatively you can participate as a participant and make something for yourself. You can only gain volunteer points for your participation in Crochet Crew if you are a Crochet Crew Leaders or volunteer.
