Teknowledge Interest Form (Langley F18)
Program Description
Learn to code with Teknowledge! Teknowledge’s after-school program starts this Fall, hosted Langley K-8! The program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, 3:00-4:00 PM, Room #11, with the start date pending. Teaching coding through engaging activities and personal mentorship.

Coding is the closest thing we have to a superpower. It enables ideas to come to life.

You will learn the power of coding by using a newly developed curriculum from South Fayette which will teach the basics of coding using App Inventor, which was developed at MIT. Students will drag and drop code blocks to create applications. Learning will be done primarily through engaging mentorship (one mentor per every 3-5 students) and is led by Carnegie Mellon students and local Police Officers.

Teknowledge is preferred for students in 6th through 8th grade!

Email us at cmu.teknowledge@gmail.com if you have any questions!
