NOTE: Due to the growing size of AWD membership, news about non-directing work (producing, screenwriting, etc.) cannot be accommodated.
Announcements with graphics or videos receive a higher engagement rate, please submit files as requested. You might be asked to create a Google Account to submit this form. Please make your uploads 1300 x 636 pixels at 72 dpi and no bigger than 200KB (2MB); everything larger than 2MB will be scaled down to fit the appropriate mode of communication.
You might be asked to provide links to photos, posters, or other visual information, please provide the ownership info for the document. If you own the picture, write your name; if the picture comes from a website, include its link. As a courtesy, we ask to provide the names to the photographers even if you own the copyright.
Answering all questions is obligatory. Providing the requested information saves AWD volunteers countless hours of back-and-forth emails hunting down information necessary for the announcements and gives you an opportunity to provide all relevant information in one sitting per each event/announcement.
To summarize: AWD members only, DIRECTING work only, be your own best VISUAL advocate.
