Register for Transforming Texts #6: Program or Be Programmed by Douglas Rushkoff — Oct 8, 2025, 6–8pm at Kai Matsumiya gallery
Can we redefine our futures by redefining our forms? How might the act of reading together itself be transformative? Transforming Texts is an experimental reading group that takes place monthly in 2025 as part of the Department of Transformation’s residency at The Clemente. Each time, we will have new co-facilitators and new formats for playing with how we gather collectively to read.

PLEASE NOTE: For our October 2025 meeting, we'll gather at Kai Matsumiya gallery (264 Canal Street, #5E), where the exhibition Jonathan Bruce Williams: Let's All Abandon Reality Together is on view through October 25. For this meeting, Jonathan and Sam Rauch will co-facilitate a conversation about the text Program or Be Programmed by Douglas Rushkoff, available for download at the link below!
