Group Hike - Saturday, 7/18,  10:00 & 11:00 AM
Getchell Trail Guided Walks
This month's Group Hike will take place on the Carol Getchell Trail with walks starting from Little Farm Road at 10 AM and on starting from the Danforth St. end starting at 11 AM. Each walk will be led by Ron Chick and will last for approximately 30-40 minutes.

Group Hike Registration & Liability Waiver

I, a participant in the group hike activities sponsored by Friends of Framingham Trails, agree to follow all safety instructions and trail guidelines as stipulated by the hike leaders and organizers. I understand the nature of the hiking activities I and others in my party have registered for, and hereby state that I am qualified and physically capable of safely completing the hike.

I understand that hiking involves inherent outdoor risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, steep or slippery trails, changing weather conditions, encounters with wildlife or insects, and physical exertion. I agree to wear appropriate footwear and clothing, carry adequate water, and stay on the designated trails with the group at all times.

Friends of Framingham Trails assume no responsibility for any injuries or property damage that occur during this event. By registering to participate in this group hike, I confirm that I have read and agreed to the following liability waiver:

Release of Liability
I hereby release  Friends of Framingham Trails and their respective directors, officers, contractors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, loss, damage, expenses, and/or injuries, whether to person or to property, which may result from my participation (as well as others I supervise) in this hiking activity.

Indemnification Agreement
I further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Friends of Framingham Trails and their respective directors, officers, contractors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, loss, damage, expenses, and/or injuries, whether to person or to property, which may result from my participation (as well as others I supervise) in this event.

I acknowledge that I cannot make any claims against Friends of Framingham Trails or their respective directors, officers, contractors, employees, volunteers, or agents for any injury, loss, or damage to person (including bodily injury or death) or property suffered while participating in this group hike.

Photo & Media Release
PHOTOGRAPHS – I hereby provide consent that photographs of me taken during this event can be used by  Friends of Framingham Trails and its affiliates in publications, presentations, social media posts, websites, and promotional materials sent to media outlets.
