2024 Marching Season Outline of Expectations:

I INTEND TO BE A MEMBER OF THE 2024 Marching Barons. 
I understand that membership in the marching band comes with responsibilities. 
I understand that I am part of a team, am an important part of that team, and need to be a good teammate for everyone involved. I agree to be responsible, to the best of my ability, for the following things:

1.PRACTICE (outside of rehearsal) and memorization of music.
2.Practice and memorization of drill.
3.REGULAR, ON-TIME ATTENDANCE at rehearsals and performances.
4.Informing/clearing with Mr. Brackbill excused absences IN ADVANCE.
5.Proper attitude and behavior at all rehearsals, events and performances.
6.Serving as a mature ambassador for the district, school, music program and marching band.
7.Following the Baron Code at all times.

Parent Initials: I understand that any student that is required to stay with an adult chaperone for a booster sponsored event or overnight trip with volunteer/parent chaperones will be required to have their parent or guardian come along on the trip/to the event to give that student the individual attention that is required for them. *
Parent Signature: I acknowledge having read this intent form and understand and support the expectations outlined for my student(s). *
Student Initials: I understand and acknowledge that the Band Boosters organization is made up entirely of volunteers that want to provide a great experience for all the students in the marching band.  The expectation is that these volunteers will be treated with respect as it is a significant sacrifice of time and money from their own pockets as they help with events and activities related to the marching band. *
Student Signature: I acknowledge the expectations above and understand that if I DO NOT follow the rules and expectations set forth on this intent form AND subsequent marching band materials, I will be subject to consequences that will impact myself AND the band.

If there are any siblings involved in the band program (not marching yet) in any of the Manheim Central school district schools (4-12) please provide their names and grades here, separating student information with semicolons(;). For example: John Smith 4th; Jane Smith 8th.

The Band Booster charter guarantees that funds accrued in student accounts based on fundraising activities conveys to siblings when a student graduates or leaves the band. By knowing if current band members have siblings in the band program in district, we can better ensure the accuracy of our accounts and bookkeeping practices.
