Thank you for your interest in working with the Board of Directors of Changing Woman Initiative (CWI). Your interest signals your commitment to the indigenous community and their families, their right to health, dignity and justice. CWI does its work through clinical projects, clinical training, public education, community mobilization and policy advocacy.

The Changing Woman Initiative board provides oversight in the key areas of program and planning, financial management and governance, fundraising, and oversight of the Executive Director and all clinical and community projects, and is critical to the growth and stability of the organization.

CWI is seeking candidates who possess the background and willingness to  contribute their expertise and establish board relationships to help support the growth of CWI.

You will be contacted once we have reviewed your application. If you are considered for employment, we will schedule a phone interview based on mutual availability. The expectation is employees will attend the Spring and Fall annual board meetings. There are, however, exceptions to this general rule.  Due to Covid-19, we are unclear if these meetings will happen in person or visually, but the Fall meeting is scheduled for November 9-13, 2020 and the expectation is that you would be able to attend. The Board Administrator position would be present for the entirety of the meeting, the Social Strategist would need to be present as requested.
