2018 New Faculty Orientation Registration
UNCG New Faculty Orientation is open to faculty who are new to UNCG from September 2017 to present. Current faculty hired prior to September 2017 wishing to attend parts of New Faculty Orientation can e-mail the UTLC (utlc@uncg.edu) directly to register. New Faculty Orientation will be held August 1st & 2nd, 2018. Check-in will be held from 8am-8:30am each morning with a light breakfast available. Lunch is included on August 1st.

Participants are encouraged to attend the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Colloquium occurring the afternoon of August 1st as well. You can register to attend the SoTL Colloquium below as part of your registration for New Faculty Orientation

As New Faculty Orientation occurs the week before classes begin, it may be difficult for you to attend the whole event. Please note, the Teaching Innovations Office will try to incorporate as many topics as possible. However, due to time constraints, we may not be able to address all topics at New Faculty Orientation. The Teaching Innovations Office will hold follow up events throughout fall and spring regarding any topics not covered at Orientation.
