Get Involved in Ending Veteran Homelessness
A cohort of housing and services providers are working with community partners to permanently house veterans in Washtenaw County. This group wrapped up a 100-Day Challenge to End Veteran Homelessness on January 23, 2025 and are now focused on keeping momentum going in this work.

Our four main goals in how our community will successfully reduce the number of veterans experiencing homelessness to functional zero are:
  1. Identify the barriers veterans face when seeking permanent housing, specifically through feedback from veterans with lived experience, and the solutions to resolve those barriers.
  2. Expand community partnerships.
  3. Engage with landlords willing to provide safe and affordable housing for veterans.
  4. Reduce the number of veterans entering the homeless system through expansion of prevention services.
Together we can do this!
