A Texas Multi-Chem (TMC) Sales Rep is a full-time position.

Territory Location: Houston area, generally Southeast Texas. Customers developed in territory will be served mostly out of our El Campo office location.

The job involves growing our school district, college, university, city, county, youth sports organization customers around Texas. Compensation method: weekly draw (actual amount determined based on candidate experience and territory characteristics/expectations) + monthly commission check for difference above total draw amount. Monthly travel reimbursement. This territory has massive earning potential with practically no income limit for a driven sales professional that is intentional with their actions and sticks to the process.

Sales Rep Responsibilities:
• Identify and call on new leads and prospects (a TMC prospect is any organization with at least one sports field)
• Create new TMC customers by analyzing a prospect's field needs and selling the TMC system by developing a TMC turf program and communicating its value along with any other special services TMC can provide
• Regularly visit and assess customer's sports fields for turfgrass health, performance and safety issues, weed problems, etc.
• Recommend proper cultural practices customers can develop to improve sports fields (e.g. proper mowing and irrigation regimens)
• Develop and communicate proposals for sports field renovation and new construction work
• Know a customer's purchasing process; communicate it clearly with TMC operations
Skills Required:
• Must have experience selling a system to prospects that might not know they could benefit from a product or service they've never heard of and/or didn't know was available to them
• Must have some experience working with sports fields and some knowledge of managing turfgrass
• Ability to manage and communicate clearly with prospects and handle many active customers
• Use web-based CRM (TMC currently uses a heavily customized version of Method CRM) to manage turf program information, keep accurate and complete customer contact info (e.g. correct email address, cell and office phone numbers, customer addresses)
• Create and send electronic quotes and orders to customers; request Purchase Orders for upcoming orders/work that needs to be done
• Effectively use combination of phone calls, text and email to communicate with customers as well as TMC field techs executing the work on sports fields each day
• Must be organized: send in all company expense receipts, record and send electronic weekly mileage reports
