2026 Timber Construction Conference Registration
This is the registration form for the Timber Construction Conference 15 September 2025 at Future Africa, University of Pretoria from 8:00 to 17:00.

You are invited to make a voluntary donation in support of the University of Pretoria’s educational and research initiatives in sustainable timber construction. Typical donations range from R950 and up per person.

Your contribution will assist in promoting knowledge-sharing, student development, and research excellence through events like the Timber Construction Conference.

The University of Pretoria is an approved Public Benefit Organisation and may issue Section 18A tax certificates for qualifying donations. All donations will be used exclusively for research and education, in accordance with the requirements of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act.

Upon request, a Section 18A certificate will be issued to enable you to claim a deduction for your donation.

The donation reference must be: A1C929 and your name. The proof of donation can also be emailed to schalk.grobbelaar@up.ac.za

What are your expectations of the event?
The donations will be used to support the various events that form part of the Timber Construction Conference. Any additional funds will be used to support the York Timbers Chair in Wood Structural Engineering at the University of Pretoria (UP). The programme includes various research, training, and marketing initiatives aiming to promote sustainable timber construction in South Africa and Africa.
