You would be contributing experiences and stories to help us create a new show in January. We would love to interview lots of LGBTQIA+ folks asking this main question: 

Which fictional character did you adore in your childhood?

Code Switch is a fun, vibrant, comedic show that wants to explore the joyful and empowering stories of how queer people of colour found their early beloved icons. Found often in genres like sci-fi and fantasy, and through them grew important values like confidence, coolness and justice. How do we use our imaginations to take that extra leap and envision a future where we belong?

How it would work:

- We would choose together an opportunity to have a 60 minute in-person chat or zoom call which I would record and ask you the above questions and others.
- I would then take your recording away and edit it into sections to become part of a larger script with other participants interviews
- I'll work with our creative team to turn your stories into re-enactments for the theatre show
- You can be named (first name only) or stay completely anonymous
- Also, I’ll check with you if you’d like your interview to be have a long version made as we're investigating them all becoming a part of an audio histories archive.
- I would ask you to fill out a release form that I’m allowed to use your story, words and maybe voice as a part of the project.
