Hello! This form is to help me evaluate current and future plans surrounding my Patreon page for Midwinter.
As a reward for completing it, you'll get a link to view the last pages of issue 7 early!
What's your name? (Say N/A to remain anonymous)
How did you find out about Midwinter?
Comic book shop
I personally know one of the creators
What platform(s) do you use most for reading and following Midwinter?
Do you keep up with the comic online, or wait for the printed versions to come out?
I read every online update
I let online updates build up and then binge it
I get around to it whenever
I buy every issue as it comes out
I wait to buy the collected volumes
I don't read the comic itself much, I'm more about supporting the creators
How long have you been a fan?
Do you know what Patreon is and how it works?
Kind of. I know the general idea, but not all the details.
Are you a current Patron?
Yes, and I am satisfied with it
Yes, but I am considering leaving
I was, but I am not now
No, but I would like to be in the future
No, and I don't plan to be
Is anything confusing or off putting about our current Patreon page?
Do you support other creators on Patreon?
What would be your motivation for supporting a creator on Patreon?
I like the creator/content and want to see them succeed
I want early access to content
I want exclusive content
I want the opportunity to interact directly with the creator and other fans
I want to be able to influence content (polls, Q&As)
I like seeing "behind the scenes" so I can understand how it's done
Which payment model do you prefer on Patreon?
Per-creation (You pay your pledge amount every time I post a page of Midwinter. Up to 8/month.)
Per-month (You pay your pledge amount once per month regardless of content posted)
Because Patreon doesn't support me yet, sometimes I have to take temporary full time work and I may produce little to no content a few months out of the year. If my Patreon used the monthly payment model, would this fact turn you off to it?
No, I would be willing to support it regardless.
No, but I may become uncomfortable if it remained that way for a long period of time (>3 months)
I am not sure
Yes, it would bother me
