Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey! What we are trying to accomplish here is to better understand coily and/or Afro-textured hair. Since 2009 there has been a stark change in how African-American women, and really women with African heritage across the world, take care of their hair. This phenomenon has yet to be fully understood and our hope is that we can begin to research the impact this new age of hair care has had on the African American woman.
