An exploration of witches in fiction across time. Bringing in famous and contemporary cultural references of Shakespeare, Dahl and Rowling, this course will intersect the imaginative and mythical. By the end of this class, students will have at least one short story for the 826 Anthology. Ultimately, this course is political as well as literary; we will question the stereotypes that are presented from women in power.
